Saray hotel
Set in beautiful gardens and close to the River Darro , the hotel is situated just outside of the centre of Granada, a stone's throw from the congress centre. Public transport is just 2 minutes' walk from the hotel and the airport is approximately 20 minutes' drive away.

Saray hotel
The Saray Hotel is housed in a sandy coloured building with marble pillars and a fountain at the entrance that evokes the atmosphere an ancient Arabian palace. The interior of the hotel displays even stronger Moorish influences, taking its inspiration from the "Alhambra Palace." The lobby, for instance, features magnificent antique furniture and colourful tiled floors. The reception desk is situated directly in front of the entrance with a bar on the right and seating area where guests relax. Guest rooms on different floors are decorated in different colour schemes, but all have a similar style of furniture and fittings. The bathrooms are beautifully finished in marble and each comes equipped with hairdryer. There is an à la carte restaurant on the lower ground floor serving delicious cuisine and an extensive buffet breakfast offering hot and cold food.

As visited Granada in July, with temperatures of 37C, found the hotel pool a must, and really needed a swim to cool down after site seeing in city. This hotel has an excellent location - bus from/to airport only 3Euros and stops practically outside hotel - also very close to all bus routes into and out of town plus open-top tour bus. Also easy to walk to all main tapas areas.

Excellent buffet breakfast, room very clean with all facilities, 10min walk to city centre, nice pool and surrounding area/bar to rear
Top Tip
Good location albeit on a one way street, good for visitng city on foot - not sure about car access/parking etc. Best getting bus from airport to bus station then bus to Congress centre to avoid big taxi fare on arrival. City bus services @ 1euro per trip are excellent to get around all the sites
